There are two important tasks that shock absorbers do. It initially, smoothen an abrupt shock impulse so that you will experience smooth road travel, lessen too much rebounds and improved road control. Tuning-wise, the system can independently do compression tuning and rebound. Precise damping is needed for the shock absorber system to properly work. This is possible with a large working piston and you have it with Bilstein 5100. Furthermore, this type of absorber is also designed to have better management on tires big in diameter.
