Basically, there are two external mirrors found in a vehicle. One mirror is located on the driver side while the other is located on the front passenger side. These mirrors can either be manually or electronically adjusted, depending on the design. A third mirror is located inside the front cabin of the vehicles just above the windshield. This mirror is useful for viewing the rear window for any approaching vehicle.

In most cases, the standard car mirrors are sufficient. However, CIPA 10800 mirrors may be needed when towing. The towing mirror provides extended visual field for the standard mirror. Towing a trailer is relatively easier to coordinate by using CIPA 10800 mirrors. This model is available in pairs which can easily be installed in your standard side mirrors.
