Basically, there are two external mirrors found in a vehicle. One mirror is located on the driver side while the other is located on the front passenger side. These mirrors can either be manually or electronically adjusted, depending on the design. A third mirror is located inside the front cabin of the vehicles just above the windshield. This mirror is useful for viewing the rear window for any approaching vehicle.
