The Block Huggers are constructed out of durable 18-gauge steel with 1/4in flanges that provide leak-proof seal. Block Huggers only extend about 3 1/2in out from the side of the engine which leave enough room for other more important components such as steering shafts and motor mounts. Tight Tubes version, on the other hand, has all the features of the Block Huggers with one added feature of flat-type collector, making it tuck closer to the engine block.
