The bi-tube shock absorbers have piston rods which are pressed in. When this happens, the oil will stream under the pistons by the orifices. The rod’s volume which enters the cylinder is responsible for transferring the oil. Afterwards, the oil streams underneath the valves to the reservoir tube. This process produces the resistance of the vehicle against too much movement. Mono-tube shock absorbers, on the other hand, do not use reservoir tube. When the piston is pressed in, the floating pistons are also pressed downwards because of the rod’s movement. This intensifies the pressure a little in the oil and gas section and creates resistance.
