The short stroke, the shortened case dampener of the S-OC, is extremely unique because its internal construction allows it to deliver superior handling without sacrificing strength or ride comfort. The unique double cylinder design allows for the full suspension stroke within the shortened shock body while low pressure gases ensure smooth rebound characteristics for that additional ride comfort.

The Tanabe suspension features the same highly tuned spring rates as the high performance S-S model and was developed for extreme durability and balance. This spring has the highest tensile strength available due to the patented manufacturing process. Its short stroke and shortened case allows for the vehicle to be lowered aggressively without compromising the suspension stroke or comfort.
