For over 75 years, Taylor was able to serve the automotive aftermarket and OEM markets. It primarily manufactures wire, multi conducting wire, high temperature silicon ignition wire, and battery cable. All of these products are available in bulk quantities. Taylor’s general office and manufacturing facility is located in Grandview, Missouri, Kansan City. There is the manufacturing and warehouse that is about 100,000 square feet.

Taylor takes pride in designing and producing wiring assemblies of high quality. Taylor manufactures such products as custom wiring assemblies for many markets. They build a variety of electrical wiring harnesses, spark plug wires, and battery cables that are set to their customer’s specification. Taylor also then produces magneto ignition systems which are for industrial engines which do not requires a battery charging system.

Taylor produces some of the best known plug wires in the industry. One of their products is the Taylor Spark Plug Wires which can be ordered with or without the RF suspension, depending upon what application it will be used. It comes in several styles to be able to suit the different needs of their customers, from stock replacement Taylor spark plug wires up to solid core racing Taylor spark plug wires. Taylor spark plug wires all starts with a low resistance shielded cores that are made from spiral wound copper and nickel. Another Taylor product is the Taylor Cable that terminates all of its pre-made spark plug wires because of its stainless steel of brass terminal fittings. With its low resistance, it ensures that the plug wires run cool internally, thus, preventing the breakdown of the insulation. Taylor Cable ensures durability as it runs into a woven fiberglass cloth throughout the spark plug wire insulation. The design goal of Taylor Cable is to provide more voltage and current but having less interference.
