The Mazda MX6 sports sedan came in the market around 1988 and 1997 to struggle with Toyota Celica, Nissan 240SX, the Honda Prelude, and the Chevrolet Beretta. The rear wheels are turned with the front during high speed rate in order to improve the maneuvering. After few more years, the Mazda MX6 became more improved with the two-trim options called the RS or base version and the LS version. The former has a 2.0L FS inline 4 with 118 hp while the latter has a 2.5L KL V6 that generates 160-164 hp. The Japanese version of the Mazda MX6 then uses a 2.5L V6 with the higher and the European version as well as the American version has a 2.5L V6 being lower in performance.
