A/c Condenser for Mercedes C220
Is your air conditioning not cooling down like it should? Is your R-134a leaking out when you try to put some in? Maybe you are leaking some of your refrigerant. There are many places to look for a leak in your air conditioning system. The first place to look is around any are where lines connect.
When the lines connect there are o-rings that make a seal. Over time the seals may get damaged or dry out and let the refrigerant leak.
You can usually tell this by an oily residue in the area of the leak. There are also dyes that you can put in your system to help find the leak.
If it is not as simple as an o-ring leak, you may be looking at a more serious problem. The condenser on your vehicle is located directly in front of your radiator. Quite often a stone or road debris can be thrown into your vehicle and you won’t even know it. If it happens to hit the condenser just right it can cause a leak. If this is the problem you will be needing a Mercedes C220 A/C Condenser. We stock a large variety of air conditioning parts and we can get any part you need out in the mail quickly to get your vehicle fixed and back in working order. If you order the condenser make sure to get some extra refrigerant. If you look in your owner’s manual or on the compressor, you should be able to find out how much your system holds to make sure you fill the system to the correct level. If you do not feel safe adding your own refrigerant, you can still install the condenser yourself and take your vehicle to a repair facility to have the pull a vacuum on your air conditioning system and add the correct amount of refrigerant to your vehicle.
