Be very careful not to over-compress the piston, as you can blow out the seals, which will necessitate replacement of repair of the caliper. If you are going to machine or replace the rotors, do so at this point. Install the new brake pads onto the caliper and reinstall the caliper, being certain to torque it correctly.
